In the lexicon of contemporary design, the floor has often been relegated to the role of a silent infrastructure: a technical necessity, a passive support destined to disappear beneath the weight of furnishings and function. Yet it represents the fifth facade of an interior, the primordial point of contact between the body and architecture.
At Fuorisalone 2026, within the exhibition ‘From Object to Vision’ by artist Franco Perrotti, curated by Fortunato D’Amico, Nesite rescues the floor from its functional obscurity to transform it into a genuine artistic and narrative device. With Nesite’s JUNO range – LED, SMART, VISUAL – and now JUNO IN ART, the floor surface transitions from a technical necessity to an active surface, capable of guiding the gaze and redefining the sensory experience.
Juno in Art: when the artwork inhabits the floor space
With JUNO IN ART, Nesite is – once again – expanding the boundaries of the horizontal surface, elevating it from a technical component to an expressive medium that blends innovation, language and experience.
In this sense, the collaboration with Franco Perrotti and Fortunato D’Amico is not merely an experiment rooted in the exhibition context, but a cultural shift in which the floor ceases to be a negligible element of architecture.
The future of design lies in this new awareness of space: a vision in which form is not merely structure, but becomes the foundation of a more conscious and participatory way of living together.

Walking on beauty, a perfect synthesis of aesthetics and engineering: the heart of Juno in Art is protected by a 15 mm thick, high-strength tempered glass surface. This transparent shield enhances the artwork, whilst maintaining the full functionality of the raised floor. A solution that opens up endless possibilities in terms of installation, ensuring aesthetic appeal without compromising engineering quality.
The Juno range: technology and versatility in modern architecture
The JUNO system is available in three further configurations, designed to transform spatial perception in various architectural contexts:
// Juno LED: A high-brightness walkable panel with a Solid Surface finish, ideal for pathways and/or high-impact environments. Available in [PL] (diffused light) and [SP] (with customised screen prints and engravings) versions.
// Juno Smart: An interactive surface that responds to touch stimuli via capacitive sensors integrated into the plenum. Developed for the National Museum of Qatar, this system transforms the floor into a play-and-learn zone that reacts to the physical presence of visitors by activating light signals and multimedia responses.
// Juno Visual: An ultra-high-strength walkable video display (load capacity > 600 kg/m²), protected by 15 mm tempered glass. Designed to display projections and dynamic content on individual modules or across the entire surface, it is the perfect tool for corporate branding and immersive experiences.
