The Intermodal Pole, after 29 years of waiting, has become a reality: Trieste is now the first airport connected to the railway line in the Northeast region.
The projects has included the realisation of:
- a new train stop;
- a new bus station;
- 2800 square meters of pedestrian area and an air-conditioned waiting room;
- multi-storey car park with a capacity of 500 cars;
- 1000 street level parkings;
- a 425-meter pedestrian catwalk
Precisely in this catwalk, symbol of the new airport, Nesite installed the entire floating floor, supplying a specific solution for outdoor environments.
MATERIAL SUPPLIED

TWIN FLOOR panel in the outdoor version is characterized by the coupling of the gres or stone top finish by a specific adhesive with a reinforcing layer made of a fibre-reinforced structural core.

SEIMILANO (IN PROGRESS)
SeiMilano is the city-garden by Mario Cucinella Architects designed to create an interconnected and sustainable urban ecosystem. The project, which involves the redevelopment of more than 300,000 sqm, will employ Nesite raised flooring throughout the entire commercial area of 30,000 sqm. THE PROJECT. Bologna Technopole
Nesite raised floors in Bologna Technopole, a scientific hub of excellence that hosts research activities and prestigious infrastructures such as ECMWF ( European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts), INFN (National Institute of Nuclear Physics), CINECA and the supercomputer Leonardo.
