From a typography to a residential design loft: this is the transformation that Nesite Contract has been able to carry out by intervening in the open space of a post-industrial building in Padua.

Intervention Area

The renovation involved the structures, the roof and the internal subdivision of the spaces.

Supply and installation of:– Parquet flooring– Resin flooring– Porcelain stoneware floor and wall tiles– Raised access flooring in parquet for outdoor use

Realization

The spacious rooms have been subdivided without the use of walls, but with levels at different heights and through the use of different flooring that characterize each space making it independent and with its own character.

In the living area, with an open plan kitchen joined to the dining room and living area, light parquet flooring has been used which warms the room and gives an intimate feel. Next door we find another full-height living area with a grey resin floor and a wall with a high impact parquet finish.

The black metal staircase leads to the bedrooms and the loft, where a glass area has been built into the floor to give light to the lower area.

Scattered throughout the building are the original elements such as the concrete columns, wooden walls and metal beams, which emphasise the industrial nature of the place and are echoed in the finishes and furnishings.
