After the Rome’s Metro Cand Dubai Metro, Milan’s Blue Metro has also chosen the quality of Nesite raised floors: more than 2,000 square meters will be installed in the technical rooms of the stations of the new line.
The floating pavement of the M4 will reach about 1 meter in height and will be composed of panels with a calcium sulfate core of very high density (about 1600 kg/m³, the highest available on the market).
This type of panel represents the best combination of technical and performance qualities, with unmatched characteristics in terms of thermal insulation in case of fire (about 60 minutes of fire resistance) and acoustic insulation.
Instead, vinyl was chosen for the siding.due to its high strength and ease of maintenance.
The M4 or “Blue Line” will connect the historic center with the East (Q.re Forlanini and Linate Airport) and West (Q.re Lorenteggio and San Cristoforo Station) and is expected to carry more than 80 million passengers each year.
The innovative automatic driving system (driverless: driverless) adopts intelligent traffic control technology to ensure the highest standards of safety for passengers.
