Umaneco is Nesite’s new creative column in which we want to tell all that is beyond the floor: the human being, the environment, the stories of our projects and those that have inspired us, with different perspectives.
Crasi of Human + Eco, as a reminder of the capacity of us human beings to make gestures of care and respect toward nature and the environment around us, people included. Gestures that can reverberate, resonate, echo in our social, work and relational ecosystem.
Indeed, Eco has a dual evocation: to the semantic field ofecology and sustainability in a broad sense, and to its proper meaning of repercussion, reflection.
The derivation of the word echo is from the Greek òikos meaning “home,” as the quintessential refuge of the human.
There is something that accompanies your every step, supports your every choice, and adapts to your path without asking for anything in return. You often take it for granted, but it has always been there, making things happen, at the beginning of your heights. This is the point of view of the foundations, which transform according to each of our desires and needs, without ever letting us lose our balance. Looking towards the future, with our feet firmly on the ground.
