the new sections of Rome’s Metro Line C inaugurated.
In mid-December 2025, two of the most spectacular stations on Rome’s Metro Line C were inaugurated, marking a key milestone in the development of one of Europe’s most ambitious urban infrastructure projects.
Within this highly complex technical and design context, Nesite contributed to the functionality of the spaces by supplying approximately 20,000 square meters of raised flooring, installed across 24 stations along the new section.
The solutions were mainly installed in technical areas, where the management, control, and full automation systems of the line are concentrated: a structural and functional intervention designed to support the long-term efficiency of a metropolitan-scale public work.
The inauguration of the new museum-stations of Metro Line C represents an important achievement in the completion of an unprecedented infrastructure, where contemporary mobility and archaeology merge, defining a new model of integration between public transport and historical and cultural heritage.
