Sky City: in Cina il grattacielo più alto del mondo in soli 90 giorni

Solamente 90 giorni di tempo per costruire un grattacielo di 220 piani, per un’altezza da record: 838 metri. Un progetto che, con questi numeri, non può che essere “Made in Cina”, ormai da tempo Paese di record.

Sky City, questo il nome della costruzione, sorgerà nella città di Changsha, nella provincia dell’Hunan, per opera della società cinese Broad Group già nota per aver realizzato progetti così ambiziosi in tempi brevissimi.
L’edificio potrà accogliere, secondo le indiscrezioni, circa 17.400 persone e ospiterà alberghi, ospedali, scuole e uffici, in altre parole una vera città nella città. I piani saranno collegati da centoquattro ascensori ad alta velocità. Terminati i lavori, verso aprile 2012, Sky City diverrà l’edificio più alto al mondo, superando di 10 metri il Burj Khalifa di Dubai.

Per costruire il grattacielo sarà utilizzato, oltre al lavoro di circa tremila operai, un metodo di assemblaggio di blocchi prefabbricati che ridurrà sensibilmente il tempo di realizzazione a soli 3 mesi. Nonostante la zona in cui sorgerà Sky City sia notoriamente sismica, la Broad Group assicura che l’edificio potrà resistere a terremoti di forti magnitudo, anche fino a 9 gradi della scala Richter.

Sky City is the name of the building that will be built in the city of Changsha, Hunan Province, through the work of the Chinese company Broad Group already known for having created such large projects quickly.

The building will be staffed, according to reports, about 17,400 people and will host hotels, hospitals, schools and offices, in other words a true city within a city. The plans will be connected to one hundred and four high-speed elevators. To build the skyscraper will be used, as well as the work of about three thousand workers, a method of assembly of prefabricated blocks which will significantly reduce the delivery time of only 3 months. Although the area where Sky City will arise is known to be seismic, Broad Group ensures that the building can withstand earthquakes of high magnitude, up to 9 on the Richter scale.
